Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
- Coach and mentor Scrum team members on Agile methodologies, fostering a self-organizing and collaborative team culture to achieve project goals.
- Identify and address impediments that hinder the team’s progress, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring a smooth workflow for timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring clear requirements and alignment with project objectives.
- Encourage continuous improvement and innovation within the team, facilitating discussions on process enhancements and implementing best practices.
- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies, and managing expectations effectively.
- Track and analyze project metrics, such as velocity and burndown charts, to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with multiple Scrum teams or across departments to scale Agile practices and foster collaboration, ensuring consistency and alignment across projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to adapt Agile practices to suit project needs and navigate challenges in large-scale Agile transformations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in Agile tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, Kanban, Lean).
