Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to meet project requirements and industry standards effectively.
- Oversee quality control activities, including inspections and testing, to identify and address deviations or deficiencies promptly.
- Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent defects, minimizing project disruptions.
- Establish key quality performance indicators to measure project quality, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes, implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency.
- Communicate quality expectations to project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding among clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control standards, fostering a culture of quality awareness.
- Ensure project compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations, maintaining necessary documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project quality control or assurance, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
- Thorough understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in quality control software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
