Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients through market research and networking to expand the software company’s client base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and proposing appropriate software solutions.
- Generate leads, cold call, and schedule meetings to pitch software products and services to prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the software company’s offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting software products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the software industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software for sales tracking and management.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a competitive market.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn about software products and industry trends.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
